A Grand Ulverston Wedding.

Hannah & Calum's wedding in Ulverston was a fun affair all day from the ceremony at the church to the fun ceilidh at Ford Park just beneath the Hoad/ Sir John Barrow Monument. The weather was good but there where a few kilts blowing in the wind! Check out the video below to see what fun day was had by all!

Storrs Hall - A wonderful setting right by Windermere.

One of my favourite places for a wedding is Storrs Hall whose grounds run along the edge of the shoreline of Windermere. If it is a sunny day the weddings take place here (see photos) and the view across the lake and up to the mountains is truly stunning. A great addition to a lot of the weddings I have done here is a boat trip on the lake itself. The grounds though and as you can see the Storrs Hall Heroes Temple is a glorious setting for photos. xxx

Weddings & Lake District Views

I get to visit some wonderful venues round Cumbria but my favourites are often situated by the lovely lakes up here. Although the majority of my weddings are photographed round Windermere,Grasmere & Rydal I also occasionally visit Ullswater, Derwentwater, and occasionally Bassenthwaite too. 

After the wedding ceremony and once all the formal photos are taken I will often take the newlyweds away from the madding crowd for a short while to get some more relaxed natural photos at a nearby beautiful vista. X
